Classification
Classification

Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species... learning how to seperate animals into different categories can be difficult! Let our curious creatures help simplify this tricky topic! Meet some of our fluffy mammals, scaley reptiles, hopping amphibians and fascinating invertebrates.

Minibeasts
Minibeasts

Small but mighty! Invertebrates make up the majority of the world's animal population, but they're often overlooked! It doesn't matter whether they've got 8 legs, or 300 legs, the world wouldn't be the same. The role of invertebrates is key for many ecosystems to survive.

Nocturnals
Nocturnals

When the sun goes down, some of our more secretive animals come out to play. Meet some of our more unusual night time crew, and learn how they're perfectly adapted to a world in the dark

Predators
Predators

Sharp teeth! Big claws! These are the things that come to mind when we think predator! But what about a long sticky tongue? Or a silk thread? From the hunt, to the kill. Learn all about what makes some of our animals the perfect predators.

Paws, Claws and Whiskers
Paws, Claws and Whiskers

Learning about animals from a young age is absolutely fundamental. Our interactive workshops allow children to meet and interact with real animals - feel their soft fur or rough scales, see their long whiskers, hear the noises that they make, and watch the way they walk or slither.

Animal Care and Welfare
Animal Care and Welfare

Whilst animals can be lots of fun, they also come with hard work and commitment. From taking care of pets in our homes, to caring for animals in the workplace, from petshops to zoos. Get an insight into some of the specialist care that different species require.

Animal Training
Animal Training

Behind the scenes here at Animals UK, we spend a great deal of time training our animals ourselves. From the basics of adjusting animals to travelling, to teaching an animal to 'act' on a film set. Learn how we work alongside our animals to get the results that we need, on their terms.

Special Educational Needs
Special Educational Needs

Our workshops really do bring learning to life. Animals have the natural ability to improve our mood, lower our blood pressure and provide a rush of 'feel-good' chemicals. We aim to fully immerse students into the animal world with our practical workshops, giving them an experience they will never forget.

Don’t see the workshop you want? These are just an example of some of the popular topics that we regularly cover, but we are happy to personally tailor our workshops to meet your every need! Contact us today at info@animalsukltd.co.uk.
